Calories are the energy in food. There is no doubt about the need of these energy by the your body to keep it functional . But it need to be controlled and used to avoid illness. theses calories will remain stores in your body as unhealthy fat unless you use them. And like we all know that it cannot be used to help our hungry children in d Africa. the only way to get it is by increasing your physical activities.
Cutting down on your calorie in take can be easy. Its a matter of making a simple substitution over the course of the day. check theses simple ways to cut calories that will in turn help you loose those unhealthy fats you are storing .
1.EAT FRESH FRUITS: Fresh fruits instead instead of fruit juice. Fruit juice contains a lot of sugar sweeten them. A medium sized orange has 60 calories,while a cup of fruit juice contains 120 calories. Fresh fruits has more fiber, which aids digestion.
2.LIMIT ALCOHOL INTAKE: Most alcohol your drink today are high calorie beverages, these includes beer,wine and cocktails. Alcohol drinks have very little or no nutritional value. So if you must drink alcohol go for the light one .
3.USE LESS OIL WHEN COOKING: Instead of using oil as a base in your cooking, find other methods of cooking that requires less oil.
4.REDUCE PORTION SIZE.
5.EAT MORE VEGETABLES.
Vegetables like cabbage,carrot are rich in fiber, which is not only good for your digestive system, but are also good to give your stomach sense of fullness that makes you eat less.
If you follow the tips above, cutting calories will never be painful to you and you will loose and maintain a healthy weight.
