Beef Cabbage


Cabbage is one of the oldest and most powerful food in the world...Do not be deceived by the price of cabbage and the way and manner some vegetable shops handle them .... .we have different kinds of cabbage and it is an annual vegetable crop. some are  Purple Red in colour ...while some are green.

Cabbage is one of the most respected vegetables.....it does not like wahala . ,it relates well with every other ingredients ...no mater the recipe.
Cabbage can provide you with some very special cholesterol lowering benefits if you cook it well. .Raw cabbage also have cholesterol lowering ability but not like the  steamed or stir-fried cabbage.

Cabbage is one of the coniferous  vegetables...(.cabbage ,cauliflower,broccoli .)they are.more like cousins. These vegetables contain Vitamins , Minerals and  other nutrients  known for fighting  and preventing  cancer and other heart diseases.

If u know all the health benefit of cabbage ,you  fit consider changing your name to cabbage.
In the kitchen, Beef cabbage recipe, is a combination of beef steak and green cabbage ,paired with green beans in an orange flavored sauce.A five star recipe . I love food and i eat only when am physically hungry. I understand that bad eating habit has eating very deep into our society today but i strongly believe that with this healthy recipe, we can begin to learn how to eat healthily,

INGREDIENTS:



  • 1 pound beef steak.

  • 1pound cabbage (green).

  • 4-5 green beans.

  •  4spring onions.

  • black pepper.

  • 1 tbsp corn starch.
  • salt to taste.

  • fresh orange(2)

  • fresh ginger 1 tbsp diced

  • fresh garlic  1 tbsp diced (2 cloves)

  • sesame oil 2 tbsp

  • dark soy sauce 2 tbsp

  • 2 tbsp veg.oil for stir-fry


Preparation: shred the beef into small sizes and marinate with salt ,,diced ginger and set aside cover for at least 15 minutes  As the beef is marinating ,prepare your sauce and vegetables. for the sauce mix together the " dark soy sauce,sesame oil  and set aside. clean up the green beans ,cabbage spring onion ans set aside.
mix the corn starch with 1/2 cup of water and set aside. Squeeze out the orange juice from the fresh oranges and set aside in a cup.dice the garlic ginger and place your wok on a high heat.
 ,you will understand the different between capital B and a GOAT LEG.

Add the oil to wet the wok making sure it get round the wok,add the marinated beef and stir until it turns brown, then remove from the wok and set aside.Wash  the wok and place it back on fire, make sure it dries up  before adding a table spoon of oil ..if not you will have your self to blame, am talking from experience,add the garlic into the wok and stir until it turns brown, do not allow it to burn..cook on low fire if needed ..... because na you de control am. pour the beef into the wok and stir with the garlic for about 2 minutes then add some  water to it,  add the green been, and then  stir for another 3 minutes, until the beans gets tender, then add cabbage and spring onions.Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir gently for another 2 minutes  then add the more orange juice, mixed sauce and cornstarch in the middle of the wok ,mix together and serve it hot with  rice or boiled potato.  Don,f forget to share you wonderful experience with us .Tanks for being here.
