Why we crave fats

Fat was priced in biblical times for many reasons. Back then, most humans suffered from deficiency of fat and basic calories were scarce. Being plump was often a,sign of great wealth. Fat contains the most energy of any of the six nutrient categories..an import consideration for people choosing yo store food, either for traveling or for survival between harvests. But probably the main reason fats were so prized then and still are, is because they taste so good. IT means we are biologically programmed yo love the taste of fat and this programming is now killing us in our world of agricultural abundance. But eating fat does not directly cause you to become fat or more correctly make you Overweight. Eating fat indirectly causes you to become because fat contains more than twice as many calories per gram as proteins or carbohydrates. Aside from containing potentially unnecessary calories, eating too much fat is bad because fat contains artery -Clogging cholesterol. Eating more calories than you
